After Autumn began after John Ciambriello asked former band mates Jim DeAngelo and Jimmy Loomer to start on a new project. In June of 2009, the band band was born with the understanding that Jimmy Loomer might have to leave the band if everything worked out perfect in his pursuit in becoming a police officer. In January of 2010, joined the force and went away to police academy for 6 months. Meanwhile, John and Jim needed to keep growing the band. Drummer Jonathan Milo who's played with Jim on occasion was a possible replacement. Jonathan tried out and began to practice with the band. Six months later, John got a tip on a great guitar player named Joshua Laterra. Joshua came on board right as the band started recording their first album. Josh decided to move on from the band in June of 2011 to pursue other areas of life and After Autumn became a trio once again. After trying word-of-mouth for a few months as a means to find a new lead guitar player, John posted an add on Craigslist and a few days later meet up with Russ Curl. Russ, with years of experience and loads of talent tried out for the band in November of 2011 and blew everyone away with his playing. After Autumn, once again became a four piece rock band with a new lead guitar sound that has catapolted the music to new level.
